I love the Word of God and its simplicity with directives for us even during the most stressful and overwhelming of times. Consider these words. “The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins”. 1 Peter 4:7-8.
This is an end of the world strategy I would never ever have thought of myself. My strategy probably would be something along the lines of panic, gather my family, hoard food and live in a cave till Christ returns. Thank goodness for the wisdom and simplicity of God to guide us. He literally quarterbacks us through the process of the end of the life we know on this earth and it doesn’t involve hiding in fear but rather being clear minded...free from things that would alter our ability to think. He wants us to be self-controlled...not in bondage to sin so that we can pray. Then on top of this we are to love people... not hide from them or just look out for ourselves but love them.
In all these directives from God I don’t detect any panic...no phrenic activity only a matter of fact...stay close to Me...don’t let outside influences cloud your thinking and let Me love people through you.
We can’t save the world in these last days but God can. He can use us to love and speak truth to those He puts in our path. We best not panic in these stressful times but lean in closer to the Lord more and not divert one iota from His Word.
