Recreation and Guest Services Team Member             

 

Facilitate, lead and assist in creating outstanding various recreational experiences for all guests and campers, being mindful of safety at all times. Assist in cleaning facility and grounds in preparation for the arrival of guest groups. Assist Program Team with setup, cleanup and facilitation of camp games. 

 

Qualifications:

• 18 years old, or high school graduate

• Certified in CPR and First Aid or willingness to become certified

• Growing and dedicated relationship with Jesus 

• Cheerful, positive attitude is essential

• Excellent public relations and communication skills

• Ability to handle a fast-paced, active schedule

• Ability to run, swim and lift & carry 50 pounds for 100 feet

• Ability to navigate rugged terrain regularly

• Must live on site

 

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and instruct all recreation activities including but not limited to:

  • Zip-line

  • Climbing wall

  • Archery

  • BMX

  • Goliath Swing

• Serve as a host for guest groups

• Serve as a role model for children through excellent attitude and conduct

• Follow and uphold all Mt. Gilead safety and security procedures

**All qualified Recreation and Guest Services staff members will have the opportunity to be Lifeguard Certified.
