Candidate must be at least 25 years old, have valid driver’s license and have a heart for ministering in a role that is vital to the care of our guests.  Good organizational skills are a must.  Also, must be mature enough to supervise coworkers during camp turnover (cleaning the entire camp between guest groups).  Duties include: cleaning accommodations, stocking all cleaning supplies, doing laundry, and overseeing lost and found items.  This position is a minimum of 32 hours per week, often includes weekends.  More hours available by helping with light maintenance and kitchen work.  Camp housing provided.

 

Classification: Part-time, Bi-Weekly

 

Qualifications:

• At least 25 years old

• Valid driver’s license

• Management/leadership experience preferred

 

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning accommodations

• Stocking all cleaning supplies

• Doing laundry

• Overseeing lost and found items.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds

• Able to work on their feet for 8 hour shifts

 

Additional Notes:

Room and board is provided for this position. This position is required to live onsite for the duration of employment unless an alternative situation has been previously approved by the hiring manager. This position is able to partake in all meals provided by Mt. Gilead’s kitchen services for the duration of the summer season or the individual’s employment, whichever period of time is shorter.
