Psalm 27:4-5
“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.”
The beauty of God and His dwelling place is like no other. It is not something we can get from mere humans. His peace is beyond our understanding, and it is right in front of us. When we fall to our knees in grief, when our faces are covered in tears and our heart feels like it weighs a ton, He will keep you safe in His dwelling. He will hide you in His sacred tent. Not only will He protect you, but He will also set you high upon a rock. You are not defeated, dear, you are seen as strong and courageous by the Almighty God, and He will set you high upon a rock.
Seek Him in all the days of your life. May it be the only thing your soul longs for. Dwell in His refuge, and let it refresh and encourage. Everything that He is is given to you freely and openly, with no hindrance. He wants to heal, He wants to love, and He wants to give. Gaze on His beauty, root yourself in His temple, and fall into His safe arms.
