About Our Theme

This summer, Mt. Gilead’s theme is “Olympics.”

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joyawaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

About Summer Camp

There are a lot of things we can say about summer camp! It’s fun, really fun. You will tear it up in huge field games. You can climb our 35 foot rock wall, or fly down our dueling zip-lines. If you just like meeting new people, hanging around talking, we have plenty of that too. Whatever you like to do we know you are going to have a fantastic time!

One of the most common comments we hear from students, is that their best time was spent in Chapel learning about God. We start our search for excellent christian teachers and musicians almost immediately after summer camp is over! We have seen student’s lives changed by the amazing work of God through our Chapels and you can too!
