Lead, train and supervise Mt. Gilead recreation areas with excellence. Responsible for risk management, facilitation and administration of challenge courses, aquatics and other recreational activities.  Full time, year round position.

 

Qualifications:

• Experience in leading, facilitating, inspecting and training on challenge courses

• Experience in leading a team of people within a camp setting

• Candidate must be flexible an motivated, completing all tasks in a timely manner  

• ACCT level 2 certification or willingness to obtain

• Red Cross Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor certifications or willingness to obtain

• Certified Pool Operator certification or willingness to obtain

• Ability to disciple others in a biblically consistent way

• A strong, growing relationship with Jesus 

 

Responsibilities:

• Training staff in recreational and aquatic areas ​

• Inspections of recreational areas, which include recreational equipment and elements and swimming pool chemistry and safety

• Scheduling and recruiting staff

• Assessing risk management of all recreational activities

• Local operating procedures

• Maintaining proficiency and expertise in best industry practices and standards as related to recreation
