Mt. Gilead Bible Camp was founded in 1964 by missionary Dwight Jungkeit. We are affiliated with the American Missionary Fellowship (formerly known as the American Sunday School Union). American Missionary Fellowship roots go back to the 1790s in Philadelphia when Rev. William White established Sunday Schools offering religious instruction to those who could not afford a formal education.
