Our Theme: S.T.A.R. Commission:
S.T.A.R. COMMISSION will take us on a journey through space, as our flight crew chooses a different plan than they had been instructed by the captain. Their rebellion leads to a crash landing on a toxic planet, and they quickly realize that they cannot fix the situation, so they send out a distress signal and pray for help. The captain arrives to rescue the team. Then he exchanges his whole and better ship for their broken one and he stays behind to clean up their mess. If the story sounds familiar, it is! It is based on the good news of Jesus Christ and his plan to rescue us! If you have children and youth in your life, we encourage you to invite them to S.T.A.R. Commission at Mt. Gilead.

Mt. Gilead Summer Program is…
… intentionally designed to help our campers experience God and have good clean fun at the same time! The week long camp programs run from June through July and are available for youth going into grades 4th– 12th. Please see the Registration Info page for current dates, times, prices, and to register online. We also offer a 2 day, 1 night introduction to camp called Kidz Kamp designed for 1st – 3rd graders as well as a High School Discipleship training program called Timothy Teams.
Our staff are dedicated to helping our campers grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through one-on-one conversations, devotionals, group worship, Biblical teaching, cabin discussions, and just hanging out! They are here to serve God by serving our campers!
Campers sleep in dormitory-style cabin facilities, within quick walking distance to the main bathroom and shower facilities. Three hearty, balanced meals are served out of our dining hall each day. All counseling and program staff are trained in CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross.
Each week begins with check-in at 3 pm on Sunday afternoon. Parents should plan on the check-in process taking a minimum of one hour from start to finish. Pick-up at the end of the week is at 11:30 am on Fridays. We will have our final chapel starting at 11 am on the day of pick up and show the weeks highlight video promptly at 11:15 am. Parents are welcome to join us in the chapel for our last time together. Please see the Registration Info page for dates and fees.
Mt. Gilead offers creative alternatives to the influences that young people face in today’s society. Our goal is to integrate a Christ-centered worldview into our entire program. Camp is an ideal setting for our well-trained, caring, quality counselors and staff to be positive role models of the Christian life as they relate closely to each camper.
