Our Theme: Being a One Thing Woman
Our world values and elevates the multitasking woman as a role model to emulate and even idolize, yet Christ yearns for us to be a "One Thing" Woman. What is a "One Thing" Woman? A "One Thing" Woman is the woman who pursues and gives preference to Christ’s priorities above the surging seas of activities, entertainments and responsibilities that crowd her day. Join us as we look into God’s word and reflect on the “One Thing” passages and learn what wisdom, joy and freedom can be gleaned from moving these words from our Bibles into our hearts.
The Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42
One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. Ps. 27:4
..But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13

Music:
We are pleased to welcome the worship team from New Day Christian Church of Santa Rosa. This young talented team of vocalists and musicians mix contemporary Christian music with familiar awe inspiring hymns of the past. Join Kathleen Hoobyar, Stephanie Caldwell and Kittren Dibley as we worship the Lord in song.
Theme: The Reluctant Servant
Do you ever feel like Moses? You want to say unreservedly, “Here I am send me Lord, but instead the words , “why don’t you send my brother instead?” tumble out of your mouth. Why do we falter when He calls us? Come join us as we explore how to heed his calling on our life, even when we are uncomfortable and experience the joy He brings as we step out in faith.
Speaker: Dawn Gould
Our speaker is well acquainted with the topic of reluctant servanthood. Having struggled with panic disorder for years she wrestled with God about serving Him “up front” in public ministry. It became a battle of obedience. Dawn has been served as the Coordinator of Women’s Ministries at Mt. Gilead for the past 7 years has been blessed with many opportunities to trust Him.
