Three Power-Packed Seminars:
What's All the Fuss About the Bible?
With Margie Cunningham
How can a book be on the Top Seller list every year and still have so many readers say they don’t understand it? Puzzling! Whether you read the Bible every day or have never read it, we’ll discuss a ‘framework for fitting’ it together and discover it IS for you.

Overcoming Obstacles in Communication
With Shannon Todd
Is your mouth your downfall? We’ve all blown it when it comes to effective communication. Few of us really think about the power, blessing, effect, and danger of our words. We will address the key to consistent, loving communication with everyone around you. You will be challenged and encouraged in this important dimension of your relationship to God and other people.

Refreshed by God
With Dawn Gould
Have you ever felt that your quiet times with God were a little too quiet? Have you ever wondered if God was listening to you? Surely the Creator of the Universe doesn’t want our time with Him to be boring or does He? Come rekindle your desire to get to know God and gain some practical tools for spending time with Him.

Special Note:
In year's past we have offered the "Friendship Ministry" (which has provided you with the opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation with a mature Christian woman). We decided to try something new this year, by leaving the Prayer Chapel open during the entire retreat. In addition, during freetime hours ladies from our volunteer staff will be available to pray with you individually if you are interested.

Pajama Party
This year we will not be having a talent show, but we will still have our pajama party, with options for you to enjoy Saturday night including:
  • Chick-Flick in the Main Chapel
  • Girl Talk: Chatting in the Fireside Room
  • Fun and Games in the Dinning Hall (feel free to bring your favorite game to share!)

March 14, 2008
Pre-Conference Luncheon “The Journey into Joy”
Joy…sometimes seems elusive, but is it really?  Featured speaker Sharon Sands will help us explore ways to regain that joy available to each of us.  Come join us for an afternoon of laughter, reflection, worship and yes, joy!   As always,  Mt. Gilead’s Culinary Staff will provide us with an exception meal.
Cost: $12.00
